Purple

When I was asked to come up with the name of my show, I spent some time weighing the different options. You will soon discover my quirky little habit of talking to myself. I love being creative, innovative, and most definitely unique. My husband thought it was a good idea to have the word purple in the title….since, my trademark is purple hair. It’s really not my favorite color, but it definitely makes me feel more confident. So I began to research the meaning of purple. And wouldn’t you know it, purple actually is a color of confidence. HA! It totally made my day when I found this out.

In my research, this is what I discovered: Purple is the color of royalty, virtue, confidence, creativity, success, strength. Purple is the color that helps depression, calms anxiety; its spiritual, soul-searching, intensely exciting, thrilling, expressive, protective, peace of mind…. And the list goes on. With just this information alone, of course I needed“purple” in the title. All of these things I stand for. From helping people to become “The Proverbs 31 Virtuous Woman and Man of Valour” to helping conquer depression and anxiety. I must use purple. Now I knew I couldn’t’ just use the word purple, so with a lot of praying and talking to myself, and this went on for a few weeks, it hit me!! Right in the middle of the day!!! “Life in Purple”. The initials are L.I.P. and then I thought, LIP talk…..and that is how the title of the show formed.

Hopefully you’re thinking, “Yes, this all makes perfect sense!” Because I am too!! That’s exactly what I’m thinking!!

On this show you will hear stories of brokenness turned into success. Yes, you will hear stories that represent a “Life in Purple”.   No fluff here, and maybe a little TMI every once in a while, but we will laugh and cry together. STOP SUPRESSING YOUR FEELINGS!! Because…. what you say, is what you become!
